◇Shirotama to appear in Richard Foreman's New Peice

The director, Richard Foreman and Sophie Haviland(Artist) launched "The Bridge Project".It is to create visual materials in various countries and bring them to performing piece. YUBIWA Hotel were invited to "The Bridge Project" held in Kyoto by the University who organized it last year. Many of the materials taken in Kyoto Unit are used in "Deep Trance Behavior in Potatoland" and Shirotama is appearing in the film.

In 1990, Hitsujiya started singing in clubs and performing in Tokyo.
In 1994, she founded YUBIWA Hotel as artistic director. Since then, she has used a warehouse, a tennis court, a strip club and an art gallery as performance venues. The performers of YUBIWA Hotel are all female and Hitsujiya tries to seek and suggest new views and images of society, the world and women.

She is known for her expressions of human desires, sexuality and violence and the instinct for food, life, and death.Describes a new mindscape of women through their bodies and stages the questions "What are women?" and "Why do we believe stereotypical images of women?".
